Influence // Led by: Warren Jackson
The pressure to “fit in” or to be “liked” is a tension most of us have to manage. Some find their place easily while others work at it their whole lives. I want to give you some practical steps to be an Influencer verses being Influenced. As Christ-followers, we understand our responsibility not only to share the Gospel but to live it. That isn’t always easy. Every person who knows Christ CAN be an influencer – discover what that life really involves.
Life – Change // Led by: Eddie Briery
In our lives, there are several different things that bring about change. The are Change Agents. We’re going to look at the different things that life throws our way and how those things can be be flipped into something positive for God’s glory. We’re also going toe looking at the greatest change agent of all, Salvation, and the role it plays in making us change agents to those around us.
Forgiveness // Led by: Nick & Alysce Parish
God gave everything in the crushing of His Son to forgive a debt that we could never have repaid. So let us respond to this truth by living as people who are forgiven and giving forgiveness without ceasing. Alysce and I want to unpack some of our forgiveness journey, Biblical themes on forgiveness and practical application for forgiveness. It’s our belief that God means for us to live as people who are free from the weights of our past so we can be fruitful for His kingdom now.
Known // Led by: Derek Griffon
The two main questions every student asks are, “Who am I?” and, “What am I here for?” Students need answers to both of those questions. We live in a culture that values shallow, superficial, and temporary things. Students are told lies every day about what’s important in life and how to be important in life. This dramatically affects their view of their identity and their value—and though we can’t unhear the lies of the Enemy, we can replace them with the truth from God’s Word. In this breakout, students will learn that their identity is not dependent upon what others say about them, or even what they say about themselves, but by what God says about them.
